Changed Traffic Conditions On Princes Highway At Moruya

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on the Princes Highway at Moruya for pedestrian safety work.

Roads and Maritime Services will carry out work to upgrade the existing pedestrian refuge on the Princes Highway 100 metres east of the Vulcan Street/ Campbell Street intersection to current safety standards.

The roundabout at the intersection of the Princes Highway and Vulcan Street/ Campbell Street will also be upgraded.

Work will be carried out between 7pm and 5am for two nights on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 June.

Night work will also be carried out on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 June, weather permitting.

For the safety of workers and motorists traffic control, partial lane closures and a 40 km/h speed limit will be in place. Parking will not be affected.

Pedestrian access to either side of the highway will be maintained with safe crossing options at the Princes Highway intersections of Ford and Vulcan Street/ Campbell Street.

Motorists are advised to follow the directions of signs and traffic control, drive to the conditions and allow up to five minutes additional travel time.

Roads and Maritime thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
