As a tourism business in the Eurobodalla I try to take note of what is happening in Tourism promotion for the region. I was therefore very excited to attend the soft launch of Eurobodalla All Kinds of Wonderful at Lincoln Downs earlier on this year. There was oysters and champagne, speeches by Destination NSW and lots of positives. They announced that the region was no longer #unspoilt because that campaign had become #spoilt. The big reveal was that they would be unveiling a million dollar promotional campaign to bring visitors to Eurobodalla with its all kinds of wonderful. They even revealed the new logo that I found a copy of on their Facebook page even though it hasn't officially been launched. You can imagine my surprise when I drove through Gippsland last week and discovered that Eurobodalla has been pipped at the post with our southern tourism 'competitor' claiming they have all kinds of wonder. Bloody Wonderful!! So if we aren't #unspoilt and we can't make claim we are wonderful then what are we? #canberrabythesea?
