To The Beagle
I would like to make comment about the article titled "Mackay Park pool meeting roundup” dated March 6, 2018. Firstly I was not aware there was a journalist from The Beagle present, so I can only assume that someone who was at the meeting wrote the article. The writer has written a biased story with notable misquotes. Anyone that attended the meeting would know there was unrest in the room instigated by the leaders of the “fight for 50m pool “group. Articles like this can do so much damage to the work that a very large number of people have been working for decades towards, and that is build an indoor aquatic centre that benefits everyone in the community. I suggest that stories like this are written in a non-biased way so as to give your readers an accurate account of the meetings events.
