Tuross Head Country Club Men’s Golf Sat Mar 25th

The Tuross Head Country Club golf course hosted a large number of golfers for the novelty

6x6x6 novelty stableford competition as well as the standard single stableford event on Saturday March 15.

The winner of the single competition was Dave Bray with 39 points who won on a countback from Reginald Apps and Mike Allen.

Michael Walsh won the remaining voucher with 38 points.

The 6x6x6 event, in which a team of four players contribute to a group score was won by Tony Brown, Reginald Apps, Graeme Bell and Daryl Kildey.

Nearest the pin winners were:

A grade: Ray Bollard on the 4th hole with 1.71 m.

Dave Bray won the 6th hole with 2.87 m and he completed a good day by also being closest on the 7th hole with 1.95 m.

B grade: Ron Rogers was the best on the 4th hole with 1.20 m and

Kye Parkes was awarded the 6th with 1.50 m.

C grade: Mike Allen won the 4th hole with 2.95 m and he also was the best on the 6th with 1.46m.

Ball winners went down to 31 points.

The coming Saturday competition is the single stroke monthly medal round.
