This month (April 9th) take a walk with EUROBODALLA LIVE MUSIC down memory lane, as they celebrate local musical legend Gwen Wray. Experience a masterful jazz performance by Sarabande and bush dance our cares away with The Clydesdales! GWEN WRAY – Pianist, poet, nonagenarian- our own district treasure will be chatting with Stafford Ray during her performance and reading some of her poems. She has many amusing anecdotes of her life as a dance hall pianist in halls from Batehaven, Moruya, South Durras to the wilds of Nelligen and later, is renowned for her playing for countless productions of The Bay Theatre Players. SARABANDE – play classic contemporary & original jazz, with composer, Paul Baker on guitar, Stafford Ray on bass and Sarah Leaver, vocals and keyboard. Between Paul and Stafford, there is more than 50 years of professional session, recording, television and show business that complements Sarah’s beguiling vocal style. THE CLYDESDALES – A local bush band who have been entertaining us for many years with their traditional tunes and songs from Australia and all around the world.
