Louise Corke's “LAYERED LANDSCAPE” pastel workshop - Mar 15th and 16th


SOUTH COAST PASTEL SOCIETY PRESENTS LOUISE CORKE‘S “LAYERED LANDSCAPE” WORKSHOP

The Pastel Society is offering members and non members an opportunity to join other pastel enthusiasts in increasing their knowledge in pastel painting. This workshop by Queensland fine art & Master Pastellist Louise Corke will be held on Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th March, 2017 at the Batemans Bay Surf Lifesaving Club, Malua Bay. The cost for the two (2) day workshop is -members $150 and non members $180 and you must register and pay the fee by 24th February. Payment can be made either by cheque or direct depost. Louise has an impressive resume, originally born in New Zealand to Australian parents she has incorporated these 2 landscapes that augment & enhance her art work. She has been awarded Master Pastellist status, a scholarship to study pastel painting in New York, as well as winning over 75 awards both in Australia & overseas for her artworks. She has been published in “The Australian Artist Magazines”, “The Artist Palette”,” Best of World Wide Artists”, “Pastel & Pencil Vol 1 (2010) in L’Art de l’Aquarelle Practique due Arts (France)”, “Strokes of Genius” as well as in the” Colour in Your Life TV show 2013”. Louise not only teaches in her Queensland studio but conducts numerous workshops both nationally & internationally. Her works can be found in both private & public collections around the world. Her work is also showcased on her own website,ozpastels and youtube.

In this workshop you will learn how to enrich your landscape with free flowing strokes of colour, explore how to underpaint your surface to achieve and optimize success in your works.
