Holidays are over; it’s back to class for our canines

The Eurobodalla Canine Club resumes its dog obedience classes on Wednesday 1st February starting at 6.30pm at the Moruya Showground’s. New members enrol on the first night and attend an introduction talk without their dogs. They meet the Instructors, as well as being shown different training equipment, receive handouts and view our demonstration team in action.

Razor and Rumur are pictured getting ready for classes by checking out their training gear, fly repellant, poo bags, sunscreen and hat, treats and lead, not forgetting to bring some water and a bowl, in case it is hot. They are all set for classes.

New pup or old dog, rescue or senior citizen; pedigreed or mixed parentage – it’s never too late to turn your dog into that dream pet with the assistance of our Instructors. All handlers and dogs are most welcome to join our Club. Dogs must be fully vaccinated and the relevant paperwork is required when joining. Enquiries can be made by calling Magda on 44711440 or Hilary on 0409 492556. Further information and registration forms are available from our web page www.eurocanine.webs.com; you can contact us via our Facebook page or by emailing us at eurodogclub@outlook.com

Official dog competitions in Conformation and Obedience are being held at Bermagui on the weekends of 11th to13th and 17th to 19th of February, with several club members eagerly training their dogs for their respective class, as well as Rally O trial on the 15th February.

We wish all the handlers and their dogs good trialing conditions and fine weather. If you are thinking of competing with your dog or wanting more information about certain breeds, it’s a wonderful opportunity to go and see various dog breeds in the one location.
