Keep beach safe - sharks are about

The Beagle has heard of several shark sightings up and down the coast. More recently off Dalmeny headland, around the mouth of the Tuross River and in the bay of South Tuross Beach near Potato Point boat ramp. On Sunday swimmers were evacuated from the beach at Broulee due to a shark sighting.

Be careful out there folks and try to swim at a patrolled beach so that Luna and her colleagues can keep watch.

Until Friday 27 January 2016, the following beaches will be patrolled in the Eurobodalla from 9am to 5pm:

Malua Bay

South Broulee

Moruya North Head

Narooma

Surf Beach

Tuross Head

Moruya South Head

Dalmeny
