Kings Highway sealing - Mongarlow between 10am and 3pm Fri 25th Nov

CHANGED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS AS WORK CONTINUES ON KINGS HIGHWAY UPGRADE Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions tomorrow as work continues on the $11.5 million upgrade on the Kings Highway to realign the road between River Forest Road and the Mongarlowe River, south east of Braidwood. Work is taking place to complete sealing on a one kilometre section of road, and will be carried out tomorrow between 10am and 3pm, weather permitting. For the safety of workers and motorists, delays of up to 15 minutes are expected with traffic control and a reduced speed limit in place. Motorists are asked to plan their journeys and allow extra travel time. Temporary line marking will be in place until the end of the project. Realignment work at River Forest Road east of Braidwood includes a new overtaking lane, widening the road shoulders and installing a roadside safety barrier. This planned upgrade is part of ongoing safety work to reduce the impact of head on and run off road crashes on the Kings Highway. Motorists are thanked for their patience while work is carried out. Work on the project is expected to be completed in late 2017. For the latest traffic updates call 132 701, visit livetraffic.com or download the Live Traffic NSW App. Media Release
