"Seen to be doing" just doesn't wash anymore

The Beagle Editor,

Easter is approaching bringing with it large amounts of holiday traffic as our traffic experts and engineers know.

Above: a typical weekend at the Princes Highway/ Kings Highway roundabout 2021

The extra traffic entering the shire via the present highways being the Kings and Princes Highways creates traffic chaos at the intersection of the Princes and Kings Highway in Batemans Bay.

For at least two decades the state government's RTA (and now RMS) experts and engineers along with the local State and Federal members have been fully aware of the traffic mess created by their short sighted attitudes to real practical solutions to resolve the mess they themselves have allowed to be created, dreaming up temporary band aid solutions to resolve the ongoing issue.

The old "seen to doing" attitude. What a drain they all are on the States taxpayers and local residents.

Surely after two decades of obvious traffic chaos they have allowed to occur in the Eurobodalla Shire area they’d be too embarrassed to show their faces, but no they let it continue without talking about real genuine solutions to the problems they’ve clearly supported otherwise they would be providing real solutions and follow up physical works.
