Free pet microchipping day for Narooma July 20th
Eurobodalla residents can have their cat or dog microchipped for free at a microchipping day in Narooma on Saturday 20 July.
Pet not chipped? Don’t terrier yourself up about it! Youth To Be Heard With NSW’s First Regional Youth Taskforce
Member for Bega Andrew Constance is encouraging young people across the region to get in their applications to join NSW’s first ever Regional Youth Taskforce which will give youth a chance to have their say on local issues. Eurobodalla residents are being encouraged to help celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at two local events for NAIDOC Week next week. Essential Energy response to ETU claims
Mainstream media are today reporting that more than 165 jobs are expected to go in NSW regional areas with staff at Essential Energy offices in Port Macquarie, Taree, Bathurst, Grafton and Lismore to be the hardest hit.
The reports are based around suggestions by the Electrical Trades Union (ETU) saying there will be projected cuts to building, upgrading and infrastructure maintenance with reductions to general operating expenses foreshadowed.
