Three former federal members for Gilmore have thrown their support behind Nationals candidate Katrina Hodgkinson.
Above (right to left) John Sharp, Jo Gash and retiring member Ann Sudamalis endorsed the former NSW Minister at Ms Hodgkinson’s campaign office on Tuesday.
“Katrina is hands down one of the best local members we have seen in this state and I am thrilled for the people of Gilmore that she wants to represent the community in the next federal parliament,” said Ms Gash.
“She has more than 20 years’ experience serving and fighting for locals in the NSW Parliament and I know she will be an outstanding representative for our community.”
Former minister in the Howard Government, John Sharp said he was excited to support Ms Hodgkinson’s candidacy.
“Katrina is a thoughtful and highly competent candidate who has a proud track record for standing up for her community even on the most difficult of issues,” Mr Sharp said.
“I am proud to give Katrina my support and I am confident she will do an outstanding job representing the people of Gilmore in the next federal parliament.”
Katrina Hodgkinson is the former NSW Minister for Primary Industries and Small Business and has represented communities in southern NSW for more than 18 years.
