Clr Pat McGinlay joined more than twenty local motorbike enthusiasts at the Council Chambers forecourt on Friday morning.
They were there to wrap up a successful week of Spot Joe Rider, Council’s motorcycle awareness campaign. Clr McGinlay, a long time rider himself, said Joe Rider was “all about flying the flag for tolerance and awareness on our roads.”
“It’s been a great week with good turnouts in each town,” he said.
“Best of all, a good cross-section of riders - men, women, P-platers, even an 87-year old – have joined in the fun to promote a serious safety message during Motorcycle Awareness Month.”
