I would appreciate if you could somehow let your readers know of the following:
In an attempt to get out and about in an informal way to meet and find out the concerns of people in our Shire, I will be at the Blue Heron Coffee shop in Moruya from 9.30 a.m. Saturday 21 Oct. for an hour or two having a coffee or two and a bit of breakie.
The idea is that anyone can join me to have a chat with me as a local councillor, (and each other, if more than one shows up) and raise issues that are of concern in a convivial and relaxed manner.
This will be my second little coffee shop chat, which I hope to do at least once a month throughout my term of office, if not more often, and at different locations each time.
Note too that other councillors are welcome to join in.
I'll stick a small sign on the table or something so people know who I am. Also I do hope the proprietors don't mind.
