Spring into Art “exhibition & sale of art works & Painting activities

Artists of the South Coast Pastel Society Inc. are constantly kept busy creating new pieces for the Society’s current & future exhibition’s and are reminded that the 2018 National Pastel Open Exhibition entry form is now available online or on application.

The Spring art exhibition and sale of framed and unframed art works will again be held at the Batemans Bay Surf Lifesaving Club, George Bass Drive, Malua Bay
 

 
from September 29 until October 6th
 

 
opening at 12 noon Friday September 29th
 

 
and then daily from 10 am until 4 pm.

All works are affordable & for sale and will feature not only pastels but other medium in a variety of styles and subjects. Entry by a gold coin donation assists the Surf Club, however the South Coast Pastel Society Inc will be running a major raffle of amazing art works & prizes which will be drawn at the National Open Pastel Exhibition in April 2018.

Children will also have fun on Sunday 1st October from 10 am – 12 pm where planned painting activities will take place with the assistance of Society members. The Society provides the materials and there is no need to register, however children under 6 require adult supervision, just show up with your enthusiasm and wear old clothes.

Members are also advised that the planned monthly meeting for Tuesday 3rd October will be held at 9.30am at the Surf Club (not the Tomakin club), after which they can join in the plein air painting group session. (Bring your equipment of pastels, paper & easel).
