Only 56 submissions to the proposed Broulee subdivision - none request change

Based on Council documents the council planning department received 56 submissions from Community Consultation relating to the proposed Broulee subdivision. However, no relevant submissions were received that required changing the proposal and it will be approved at next weeks Council Meeting (Tuesday 28th March 2017).
 

31 responses were in favour of the proposal (10 of these appear to be form letters) saying it was a tasteful development that will address youth unemployment, provide jobs for tradies, provide investment for the shire and rates for council.
 

25 responses noted a range concerns and suggested improvements for the development including the unsuitability of the medium density zoning, lack of green space and the clear felling of all trees. Council planners felt these concerns were not relevant to make any further changes.
