Tomakin Twist Tops Bowls Report

President Steven Hogan welcomed 32 bowlers on Sunday on a coolish morning until the sun came out and warmed us all up. Great to see new bowlers Alma and Max out on the green , a different game from Ten Pin bowling!! Winners were those with Highest Winning Margin, also some very close scores. Janet Smith , Steven Hogan and Tony Birmingham sharing a half game each. Runners-up, Karen Crowe and Karen James. Tony selected Rink 4 to try for Jackpot, Milka cut the cards, found 8 of Spades. Other winning teams, Peter Crowe and Milka Starkovski +1. Michael Voce and Tony Dobson +1. Robyn Best and Ute Krook +1. Tricia Wheeler and Kane Malone +2. Roland Krikowa and Ross Miller +3. Madge Elliott and Sally Malone +4 . Well done to all teams, a great effort. Lucky number winners on 4, John Signor, 24, Tony Birmingham. As I will be away for 3 weeks I just wanted to wish Ingred " Shorty" Blazius all the best on her move to Gippsland to be closer to family, she will be missed . No Awards given out this week but heard from Neil Power that he was lucky not to receive it!! Neil lives in Canberra but comes down to Tomakin to bowl on weekend so has a " Coast Bag". Last week gave some donations to Vinnies and accidently gave " Coast Bag" away, took a while to work out where it was. Everyone welcome to Sunday Twisties come along and bowl to some great music, lots of fun and friendship, call 4474 7019 to register for a game.

Runners-up, Karen Crowe and Karen James
