Seabourn Odyssey to visit BBay March 10th

Eurobodalla welcomes cruise ship Seabourn Odyssey for her maiden visit to Batemans Bay this Friday, 10th March.

The Seabourn Odyssey leaves Sydney on Thursday, with Batemans Bay being the first stop on the itinerary. The ship has 360 passengers and 335 crew onboard for a 13-day cruise, visiting Kangaroo Island and various ports in South Australia, Victoria and Eden before docking in Sydney on March 21.

Only 32 percent of passengers are Australian with 68 percent being international - mostly from USA.

Seabourn Odyssey will be at anchor in the waters off Batemans Bay from 9am. Guests will board tenders for a short trip to the floating pontoon on the Batemans Bay waterfront where they can watch a welcome to country at 9.40am. A plaque will be presented to the captain by Charles Stuart of the Batemans Bay Business Bay Chamber.

Tour opportunities for passengers during their visit to the south coast includes: oyster tasting experiences, an e-bike ride with Aboriginal storytelling, a tour of Tilba Valley and winery, a view of the tollgates from a sea plane and a cruise up the Clyde River on the Merinda.
