While the NSW 2022-23 budget might have delivered little in the way of new funding for the Bega electorate by way of new road improvement commitments and positive additional commitments to health and education beyond what had already been "announced" several times over during the by-election the region has picked up funding via the Regional Grants that are less political and are driven by project application, merit and value for community.
