Narooma Men’s Bowls - Social Bowls Winners’ Circle

On Wednesday we had 40 bowlers making up six rinks of triples and a rink of pairs.. Winners were decided by Lowest Winning Score and this week the winners were Graham Cummins, Peter Dillon and Ray Gale (skip) who were in fine form to lead 11 to six after 11 ends and kept that form to take their match 20 to 14 against John Voytas, Russell Smith and ****** (skip). Second place went to Peter Chatfield, Rex Dunn and Jim Constan (skip) who led 10 to eight after 11 ends and after being caught at 20 all on the last end still won their match 13 to eight on ends up against Reece Budnick, Jim Shepherd and John Redman (skip). Don Caldwell showed up his recent good form when he had the first resting toucher at 13.15. Well done Don. Thank you to Rapley and Son, Narooma Plaza, for their continued support.


On Saturday Peter Hiscock and John Redman (skip) enjoyed the conditions to lead 11 to 10 after 11 ends before drawing clear for a 24 to 16 win against Darrell Goodridge and ****** (skip).


On Sunday we had two rinks of Triples and a rink of Pairs. Winners, decided by Highest Winning Score, were Sue Sansom, Sue Bender and Cindy Newell (skip) who started strongly for a 16 to seven lead after 11 ends and they continued to play well to run out 25 to 11 winners against Sue Waldock, Carol Verner and Ken Burrows (skip).
