UPDATED: Looking for a RAT on concession? Not a concessional RAT to be found

Updated: today (3rd Feb 2022) sees three Batemans Bay pharmacies listed on the Find Me a Rat page.

The Australian government has introduced a temporary Rapid Antigen Test Concessional Access program. This program started on 24 January 2022 and ends on 30 April 2022. If you have a valid, eligible Commonwealth concession card, you can access up to 10 rapid antigen tests through participating community pharmacies, at no cost to you. You can access a maximum of 10 rapid antigen tests over the three-month period, but no more than 5 tests in any month.

This temporary program enables eligible people to access rapid antigen tests, to be more confident engaging in your regular activities, while protecting yourself and others from COVID-19. The Australian Government and state and territory governments are jointly funding this program to provide rapid antigen tests to eligible people at no cost. Subject to availability, valid concession cards (Commonwealth Seniors Health Card, Health Care Card, Low Income Health Care Card, Pension Concession Card and DVA Gold, While or Orange card) can get up to 10 free RATs over a 3 month period with a maximum of 5 in a month from a participating community pharmacy.

RATs can be picked up from a participating community pharmacy by showing a physical or digital card in the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.

If you were to look to see who is a participating Chemist in Eurobodalla you would have been disappointed on the 2nd of February 2022.
