Eurobodalla Photographic Club : Photographer reflections

The Eurobodalla Photographic Club competition in February was on the theme of 'Reflections'. Some excellent images were offered to the judge, Amelia Chen. Amelia's honest appraisal of each photo was much appreciated.

The competition winners were:

Black and White:

Gold – Sue Hartland, Gum Reflections.

Silver – Ken Foster – Melbourne Skyscrapers.

Colour:

Gold – Beth Westra, A Day in the Office.

Gold - Bruce McGee, Windmill

Gold – Shirley Gunter, Fireworks Reflections

Silver- Yvonne Mathews, Monet's HomeTown

Silver - Karen Reisma, Croc

Silver – Ken Foster, Gordon River

Silver – Karen Reisma, Fountain

Silver - Shirley Gunter, Lagoon Reflections.

“Peoples’ Choice” and Image of the Night

Members were also given a presentation on 'Macro Photography' by David Kemp at the meeting. Dave's amazing photographs of insects in close-up gave members much to talk about over the evening's supper.

The club's recent visit to “On the Perch” – the walk-in aviary at Tathra, resulted in some fine photos which were presented in a slide show to the group. Sadly “On the Perch” closed its doors for the last time shortly afterwards.

The Eurobodalla Photographic Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month (except December) at 7pm at the Tomakin Community Hall. All interested in joining the club are most welcome.

NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
