At the Eurobodalla Photographic Club’s monthly meeting on Tuesday 27th April, Patterns in Nature was the topic of the monthly photographic competition. Mogo Wildlife Park’s Mogo Zoom photographer, June Anderson, was the judge and speaker. Unfortunately June couldn’t be present but had recorded her critique of the club member’s entered photos as well as her talk about wildlife photography. Thanks to June for her effort.
Club member Phil Warburton gave a great presentation on the club’s Adhoc group trips to the South Pacific Heathlands Reserve at Ulladulla where the Adhoc group have been taking images of insects and have been approached to produce an ID sheet for the insects found in the reserve. Phil showed images of butterflies, beetles, flies, wasps and bees and explained that the group has started using longer lenses rather than macro lenses.
The club members are enjoying being able to meet in person (with Covid-19 restrictions in place) and the Tomakin Hall was buzzing with energy.
