Eurobodalla Photographers Try Two Up at the June Meeting

Conventional wisdom suggests that three objects in a photographic composition is the magic number. For members of the Eurobodalla photographic club the challenge for the June competition was two objects only in a photographic composition.

The Judge for the competition was Ken Foster, a club member who is an FCC accredited photographic judge. Ken's entertaining and upbeat critique of the entries fully involved the members present and was very well received.

Following the review of competition entries Merrick Bailey enlightened the audience with a presentation on the importance of colour management in digital photography. Covering colour space, camera settings, monitor calibration and printing. The importance of an effective colour management regime was demonstrated by comparison of a fully colour managed print with a print processed by a retail print shop.
