Club Malua Women’s Bowls Report

There were no social bowls held this week due to the inclement weather. On Wednesday our AGM was held at Club Malua. President Sue and Bowls Organiser David welcomed all those present. Lovely to see Val Dundas, Bess Holloway , Julie Lewis and new bowler Lorraine Taylor.

Margaret Bridges took on position of Returning Officer, Lyn Hardy, Tally Clerk.

President Sue Beavan and Secretary Patricia Weekes were elected unopposed.

Voting slips were used to elect two Vice-presidents, those successful in these positions were Kim Giannasca and Jan Shalders.

Voting slips were also used to select positions on Selection/Match committee. There were 8 nominations and 4 needed on committee, those selected, Pat Bill, Jenny Blyth, Julie Lewis and Carol Dutkiewicz, David Thomas is Chairman.


Far South Coast Delegate is President Sue Beavan. Communications Officer, Tricia Wheeler.

President Sue thanked all who nominated for a position and were unsuccessful, she was very pleased to have so many ladies willing to take on any role that is needed. Sue thanked all the previous committee members and especially Social committee ladies for the fantastic job they did, this committee will not be needed in the future.


David thanked Gayl Vidgen for her dedication on Selection committee .
