A musical drama based on the life of mega musician Elton John. Taron Egerton very ably takes on the role of Reginald Dwight through his early days as a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music through to his music partnership with Bernie Taupin and his transformation to Elton John. There's plenty of flourish, fanfare and fantasy just as you'd expect from a film about this flamboyant rock star.
