The SS Bodalla


The Narooma History in Photos social media page is building a wonderful collection of historical photos. Their latest post should be of interest to the Bodalla folk. BODALLA - Illawarra & South Coast Steam Navigation Company, Sydney Built as Wooden twin screw steamship for the Illawarra & South Coast Steam Navigation Co in 1914. Had only limited passenger capacity, mostly transported timber and general cargo THE SS Bodalla was wrecked off Narooma on the 27th January 1924



NOTE: Comments were TRIALED - in the end it failed as humans will be humans and it turned into a pile of merde; only contributed to by just a handful who did little to add to the conversation of the issue at hand.
