Who has Eurobodalla's BEST Pie?

National Pie Day is a celebration of pies that occurs annually in the United States on January 23. It started in the mid-1970s by Boulder, Colorado nuclear engineer, brewer and teacher Charlie Papazian after he declared his own birthday, January 23, to be National Pie Day

Australia didn't take this up though and it wasn't until June 1st, 2017 that Australian National Pie Day started in the Southern Highlands when they boldly declared themselves the Southern PieLands for the whole month of June.

The Sapphire Coast is now running with the idea and launching today is Pie Month with

Sapphire Coast NSW saying:

"We challenge you to find anyone as excited about pies as Paul West. As self-appointed Sapphire Coast Pie-Minster, he’s giving one hell of a fist pump for Merimbula Wharf Restaurant's Wharfie fish pie.

"June is National Pie Month (yes it’s a thing) and June 1st is National Pie Day. Lots of our famous foodies are offering up delicious bespoke pies throughout the month of June to honour this exciting event and we can't wait. Beer and Steer Pie at Eat Drink Neighbourhood Bermagui, The Merimbula Wharfie fish pie at Merimbula Wharf and the Spanish inspired (but full of local goodness) Pambula Pierdro Pie from Wild Ryes will all be on offer at these fine establishments for the month of June. Make sure you put them all on your road trip pie-tinerary."

Rising to the challenge we ask "Who has Eurobodalla's best pie?"

Late last month the Moruya community reminisced of the square shaped pies of Mylotts Bakery.

Who do you believe has the best pies in Eurobodalla worthy of putting up against Paul West's challengers?
