Melbourne cup day and we just had a fun day 15 women played first 8 ends and we needed a drink and something to eat before we finished another 2 ends. We had the game spider before we started and 6 winners got a lovely present.
The best looking hat was chosen and the winner was Madge Elliot and second was Maureen Devine. After a lovely morning most of us went to the club to watch the Melbourne cup race.
Next Tuesday the fours will start their first game .
