Rockpool now installed at The Pav

Cultural Capital’s Cathy Drew and Mark McClelland are launching another new work.
 'Rockpool', in cast aluminium, is being installed at the new Bay Pavilions – Arts + Aquatic in Batemans Bay.
 
 Cathy and Mark won the commission with a sculptural placemaking work, designed to be used as a seat and gathering place directly outside the entrance foyer. In developing Rockpool, the artists studied the local coastline and drew elements of the liminal rock shelf zone and the eternal movement of the tides through into the work.
