Puppy Scam: a serious warning

The Beagle Editor,

A SERIOUS WARNING!!!!

Many people appreciated the publishing of my letter regarding puppy scams. None more so than a Sydney gentleman who was within minutes of transferring funds to the same scammer.

While that letter was considered a warning to the public, this is far more sobering. Realising he was being scammed, he advised the scammer he would report him to the police, which he has done.

The scammer’s response is quoted here verbatim with permission, in a message I received from another scammed buyer I am now in contact with. This puppy buyer told me of his experiences:

"After I discovered I was being scammed and informed him I would report him to the police.

THIS MESSAGE IS FROM THE SCAMMER.

HE TEXTED THIS MESSAGE TO ME ON MY PHONE (RECEIVED MONDAY NIGHT AUGUST 1OTH, 2020, AT 8:19PM)

"YOU WILL LEARN A LESSON FROM ME.....

YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY RIGHT?

YOU ARE PLAYING WITH FIRE.

GO TO THE HIGHEST AUTHORITY IN AUSTRALIA,

BUT I SWEAR, YOU WILL REGRET EVERYTHING.

YOU WILL GO DOWN ON YOUR KNEES AND BEG ME I SWEAR”.

My fellow scammed puppy buyer wrote to me saying:

“HE HAS MY HOME ADDRESS,

MY FULL NAME, MY 9 YEAR OLD SON'S FULL NAME

AND OTHER PERSONAL DETAILS AND INFORMATION”.

THIS IS CAUSING ME GRAVE CONCERNS AND SAFETY FEARS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY:

The scammer also has my information and I AM SCARED!

Beagle Readers beware !!!

THESE PEOPLE ARE SERIOUS CRIMINALS WITHOUT MORALS OR CONSCIENCE.
