No piece of the pie for local contractors as outsiders take the cake

The Editor

The Bush Fire Clean up is occurring in the shire at the present time.

Many out of town contractors with their large trucks and other equipment are employed with the clean up works.

The out of town company’s and the contractors are very busy collecting money that could have potentially been paid to local resident contractors, employing locals and assisting in keeping the local Eurobodalla Shire Economy in better shape financially. But that’s not occurring.

Much of the money being  used with the clean up costs is being exported to other places, distant from the local shire.

The man in charge, of the clean up process, the Minister for Recovery, John Barilaro, might like to comment as to why local contractors seem to have been left out of the local financial win.

The local member Andrew Constance may even like to help the area's local contractors get a bite of the clean up pie.?

While the outside contractors help themselves to the pie local contractors are left with the crumbs.
