 Democracy needs a voice. Pandering to the Murdoch press empire does little to promote democracy in these troubled times. Cut after cut; job loss after job loss. All under the umbrella of so called economic efficiency.
 

So what do the candidates in the upcoming Eden/Monaro federal election say about these #ABC job cuts?
 

The demise of the Bay Post and the Moruya Examiner has been sad to watch. If not for the The Beagle, local residents for example would know little about what is happening in our local Eurobodalla Shire Council.
 

The demise of local newspapers and ongoing cuts to media, leads to a loss of scrutiny of our local democracy.
 

So to our federal candidates, what do you say about the future of Our ABC?
