Investigations continue following armed robbery– Narooma

Investigations are continuing into an armed robbery in Narooma.
 

About 6am Friday (25 October 2019), two men attended a service station on the Princes Highway at Narooma and allegedly used a tree branch, length of timber and a rock to smash electronic equipment before demanding cash and cigarettes from the service station attendant.
 

The two men fled the scene and were captured on CCTV running through the carpark of a nearby club.

Detectives attached to South Coast Police District established a crime scene and are continuing their investigation into the whereabouts of the two men.
 

Police are now appealing for anyone who may have seen or interacted with two males attempting to hitch-hike in the early hours of Friday (25 October 2019) on the Princes Highway at Narooma.
 

The two men police believe can assist with inquiries are described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged 18 to 20, with a thin to medium build.

Detectives would also like to speak to a woman who may have witnessed or was present during the armed robbery. She is urged to contact South Coast police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
