Beautician Brogan Lee, a single mother of 2, heard the news that her business was gone from her customers who texted her later that night. She packed her daughters in the car to drive to Narooma and witnessed firsthand the fire brigade bringing the fire under control to then finally putting it out.

Brogan's friend Carly Manning is organizing a fundraiser in the hope of gaining much needed support to help Brogan recover and move forward.
Carly says "Brogan has suffered this year, first narrowly missing the New Years fires, recently separating from her partner, moving her business to a shop front after having to close her doors for 3 months to adhere to COVID restrictions and moving her family into their new home. It’s been a tough year for some, but tougher for others. With the current embargoes that we’re in place on insurances, every time Brogan tried to update her insurance after New Years and Covid, she was knocked back.
"Brogan runs a beauty business and is renowned for creating the best and most lushes lashes on the south coast, with people travelling over an hour sometimes twice a month. She services other beauty areas including waxing and manicure and pedicures, with acrylic based products.
"The aim of this fundraiser is to build up enough money to help Brogan get back on her feet financially to get through the next few months.
"The intention is to build up her beauty supplies, a table for her clients lashes, nail and manicure supplies, as well as a table with a built in exhaust to prevent inhalation whilst creating the wonderfully manicured acrylic hands we have all been privileged to receive, (this table starts at $3500).
"We know it’s been a tough year for us all, but any help for this young mum to get up and going again would be appreciated."
