The Beagle

Generosity seems to have no boundaries.

Earlier this year Max Castle was visited by two smart ladies from Sydney, Mary and her friend Barbara. They had traveled specifically to Tuross Head to make a donation of tools used by Mary’s late husband.

Mary was keen to make the donation in one way or another to those who were involved in the fires earlier this year or those who were providing support to those impacted by the fires.

Through Bruce Kennedy, a fishing club member, they learned about the Tuross Men’s Shed and the donation the Shed had provided to a number of local Fire Captains and crew who went through a really tough fire period and are still recovering.

The committee and members of the Tuross Men’s Shed would like to thank Mary for her generosity and to Barbara who jointly took the time to travel such a distance to make the donation which will be well used by those in need.
