The Eurobodalla Photographic Club had it’ July meeting on Tuesday 27th July. The members were happy that it was possible to hold their July meeting in person – though with limits to members numbers and mask wearing due to Covid Restrictions being tightened.
The Club is still only showing projected images due to the distance restrictions being in place leaving no room for prints.
At the July meeting, the judge was the club’s own member, Ken Foster. Ken gave an in-depth critique of each photo entered, making sure to say something positive about each photo and sometimes showed a suggested crop to better tell the story. The topic was “Open”.
Ken also gave a good talk about how to critique images, something the members can also use on their own images. After the talk, members were grouped (maintaining the social distance) and was asked to critique a few photos. At the end, the images were shown on the projector and members discussed the critique given by the group.
