Eurobodalla Photographers Brave the Elements

A very wet and stormy night did not discourage twenty six members and four visitors from turning up to listen to our guest speaker and judge for the March meeting, Len Glasser.

Len is an internationally recognised director, producer and videographer of documentaries, promotional videos and short films for corporate clients. Len is also a very engaging teacher and educator willingly sharing his wide experience of the photographic arts with our group. Len's theme for the evening covered the elements of an image that add to the viewers perception of the subject and how this perception changes when the viewers own knowledge of the subject is added to the story.

By using a series of images with the same subject matter but in a slightly different context Len effectively demonstrated how the story presented to the viewer would differ.

The theme for our monthly competition was open. Lens critique of our images was very encouraging and positive, often relating his remarks to the subject of his previous presentation.
