Changed traffic conditions on the Princes Highway south of Batemans Bay

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on the Princes Highway while geotechnical and pavement investigation work is carried out to inform the South Batemans Bay Link Road project.

Work will be carried out for four days from Monday 17 to Thursday 20 May between 7am and 5pm, weather permitting.

Lane closures will be in place on the Princes Highway with a stop/slow arrangement and reduced speed limit of 40 km/h between Cranbrook Road and Mills Fishing Road.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, allow five minutes additional travel time, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks road users for their patience during this time.

Above: Transport for NSW is planning for a safe and efficient connection between the South Batemans Bay Link Road and the Princes Highway. The proposal includes a new roundabout on the Princes Highway and new two lane road connecting to the existing South Batemans Bay Link Road at Glenella Road. The project will take pressure off Beach Road, relieve congestion in the Batemans Bay CBD and support future growth.
