Become A Beach Scientist With CoastSnap

CoastSnap is a global citizen science project to capture our changing coastlines. Repeat photos at the same location help to track how the coast is changing over time due to storms, sea level rise, human activities and other factors.

All you need to do is take a photo using the official CoastSnap camera cradle and share via the free CoastSnap App or social media.

There are three CoastSnap points within the Bega Valley – Short Point in Merimbula, Pambula Beach along the headland walk and Disaster Bay lookout in Ben Boyd National Park.

You can also find CoastSnap in the Eurobodalla

Next time you are in these locations, download the CoastSnap App, snap a photo and contribute to a growing community database to help us record changes to our local beaches.
