A busy Council agenda in store for the first council meeting after seven weeks under the Doona

Rising sleepily from their seven week hibernation it is hoped that the Eurobodalla councillors will wake in time to remember that Tuesday May 26th is "back to school' for them.

First order of business will be to attend an online Zoom Public Forum from 9:30am onwards.

While this is not being Live Streamed it has been opened to the public to observe if they registered to do so 24 hours before.

At 11am after a quick half hour break, a pee and maybe some coffee to keep them awake for the next session the councillors will regather on Zoom (this time live streamed on Council's website)

As they haven't met for seven weeks there is much to attend to.

There will be two NOTICES OF MOTION

-Reintroduction of Livestreaming Public Forum

- Re-scheduling of previously cancelled Council Meetings and Public Access Sessions

Next is a classic Dorothy Dixer question gifted to Clr Nathan asking rhetorically for a report on "Rateable properties affected by the bushfire disaster"

Watch the bristles stand on staff necks as Clr McGinlay asks questions around Quantum of unrestricted funds. The response by staff is embarrassingly evasive and actually fails to answer the question asked.

The rest of the agenda offers occasional gems that might raise discussion however most of our councillors wont have bothered reading and digesting what has been put in front of them, knowing that all they are required to do is dozily lift their hand to vote in agreement at whatever the General Manager and her staff recommend.
