Mine shaft training brings Moruya Rescue crews together

Fire and Rescue NSW Station 384 Moruya report that Station 384 has undertaken training with the NSW SES Moruya Unit.

"This training included vertical rescue scenario down a mine shaft, the same mine shaft where we recently rescued a dog. However this time we simulated where bad air was below and had to enter using our Breathing apparatus on an extension mask set up.

"Both services worked excellent together and it’s a very positive vibe and outcome.

"This valuable training enhanced us working together as a team and ensured that if we have a real incident we all know what to do and will work like a well oiled machine."

"Thank you to the SES crews."
