Central Tilba Rural Fire Brigade-NSWRFS - VALE Richard Bate.
Early on Sunday morning, Central Tilba brigade lost our longest serving member when Richard passed away at home in Tilba Tilba.
"During his 38 years with the brigade Richard served as Deputy Captain and Captain and was always ready to respond to emergency calls day or night.
"On behalf of the brigade and the Tilba community I would like to thank Richard for his service and offer our sincerest condolences to Lesley and their family.
Rest in peace.
