What can I say but well done to the Tuross ladies for their organisation of our 2018 Presentation which was held at Tuross Country Club .
The room looked so festive , table décor was fantastic with so much colour . The theme this year was multicultural and so many countries represented in dress , most teams made such a great effort to take part . As we entered the venue we were offered a Champagne cocktail with orange juice if preferred before being shown to our tables .
The AGM was held first to elect office bearers for 2019 , with plenty of discussions of what was needed to run a successful competition . The outgoing committee was thanked for the wonderful job they have done this year , Cathy Klippen , Karen Motyka , Elaine Anderson and Helen Wilson you are all amazing to have kept things running so smoothly .
This year we had no President and next year will be the same .
Congratulations to Kathy McKenzie who has taken on the position of Secretary , Helen Wilson as Treasurer and Lyn Robbins as Results coordinator .
A beautiful smorgasborg lunch was provided followed by some scrumptious desserts , tea and coffee .
Presentations were made to winners and runners-up in the three divisions . Instead of the usual wine glasses a beautiful pottery platter made by a local potter was given to each team also a plaque to be put in place in their club rooms . After these proceedings it was time to take to the dance floor accompanied by a two piece band who played some fantastic dance music . They even called all the " French" girls onto the stage to take part in the singing , lots of fun .
There were lots of fabulous prizes to be won so some very happy winners . We look forward to another year of ETLC and maybe there are some ladies in the Eurobodalla who would like to join us in fun , fitness and friendship .
