Moruya's Deep River Choir Eurobodalla Shire Council have combined funds again to present the 2nd

free Community Sing-Along Workshop for 2018.

Dan grew up singing with Judith Clingan's GANDEAMUS an Australian music youth company where

she traveled as a choir member and soloist throughout Australia and overseas. GANDEAMUS later was renamed Music For Everyone, which tells very much the direction Dan has steered her own career.

As an adult Dan has worked as a community singing leader for the last 15 years. She regularly facilitates workshops and choirs in the Bega Valley and is part of a vibrant choral network in regional NSW.

Dan's work is inspired by her belief that local community's need access to cultural opportunities. Singing offers a unique opportunity for diverse members of our community to come together in one of the oldest cultural activities in the world: singing together for fun, beauty, and enjoyment shared all round.

Led by musical director and founding member Amanda Grahame, Deep River Choir is a community based performance choir appearing at festivals and fund raising events across the Eurobodalla shire and beyond. Featuring African and a broad range of songs from around the world, they aim to schedule several concerts across the seasons, sharing our show with the wider community, and sponsoring community singing workshops

The community is invited to come to the Moruya Scout Hall, 26 Shore Street , 21 October, 3-5pm for a very lovely sing, AND afternoon tea.
