Moruya Branch of the CWA of NSW presented their major donations this year to St Cecilia Music Scholarships where one of the scholarships is presented in memory of our past President Mrs Jenny Rigby . Other recipients are Angel Flight, the Newborn Intensive Care Foundation,Guide Dogs Association NSW/ACT ,Riding for the Disabled and PCYC. We also make donations to both Public & Private Schools in our area .
 

 
Moruya Branch is one of very few CWA Branches who still maintain a Handicraft Shop and Tearooms in NSW, we are open on Thursdays & Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. We are located at 64 Queen Street Moruya
 

 

 
We hold our Branch meeting on the 1st Thursday of the month from 10am and Handicraft classes are held on all other Thursdays in the month from 10am to 12noon.
 

 

 
We invite people to come and join in at our Handicraft morning where help can be given in a variety of crafts. One of our members runs crochet classes but we usually have a waiting list for these and inquiries can be made at the shop about the dates and times for crochet classes.
 

 

 
Friday 21st September High Tea, - the Wicked Sisters will be entertaining - 2pm for 2:30pm, $15 per person with a raffle and Lucky Door prizes and bookings can be made at the Tearooms on Thursday or Saturday from 10am to 2pm or by phone to Marisha on 02 44744442 , RSVP by Monday 17th September.
 

 
Saturday 29th September from 8am we have our street stall in Vulcan Street opposite the Court House selling an array of items including our cakes ,slices, jams and pickles.
 

 
Also on the 29th September from the Ford St Car Park at the rear of the CWA Rooms we are holding a sausage sizzle in aid of our local farmers affected by the drought.
 

 

 
Moruya Branch of the CWA can be found at 64 Queen Street Moruya with disabled access and plenty of parking from the rear car park behind the Moruya CWA Rooms.
