Australia’s Taking Stock program, as part of Dairy NSW’s response to current challenging

decisions and identify support available. The sessions are confidential and personalised to
reflect each individual farmer’s situation.
Dairy NSW Executive Officer, April Browne, said: “We are providing advice and information to
assist farmers with feed and business decisions, as well as ensuring farmers have access to
mental health and resilience programs, and Government support packages.”
Farmers interested in the feed planning one-on-one sessions can call April and the Dairy NSW
team on 1-800 270 778 or email info@dairynsw.com.au to register or request more information.
Dairy NSW is also delivering additional drought-response activities including feedbase

and developing feed rations in drought conditions.

also being held as well as social events to bring farmers together.
“Tough times take their toll physically and mentally – staying connected with your community
and other farmers and professional health care providers in this environment is important,” April

farming community.”
