TUROSS HEAD
About 7.45 pm Saturday 28 July 2018, a BMW sedan was travelling along Hector McWilliam Drive, Tuross Head in a westerly direction.
The 49 year old male driver failed to negotiate a right hand bend resulting in the vehicle losing control,
striking a power pole before continuing into a residential property and colliding with a parked vehicle and trailer.
Residents in the home came out and rendered assistance to the driver, who was uninjured.
Police arrived and breath tested the man. He recorded a positive reading and was taken to Moruya Police Station.
A secondary test determined a high range reading 0.243.
He was subsequently charged and had his licence suspended.
He will appear at Moruya Local Court on 7 September 2018.
