Check out AdultEd's Creative Headwear workshop How to Make a Fascinator,

Friday 25 May in Batemans Bay, 10amto 1pm, $75.00 per person, includes materials.

Fascinators (from Latin meaning “to bewitch” or “to cast a spell on”) originally referred to a lightweight knitted or crocheted headscarf. Be guided by an experienced practising Milliner to create a stunning head piece which can be worn to the races, a wedding or any occasion where you want to look “bewitching.”

The course will consist of making a floral headpiece on a headband or long clip. The great thing about making fascinators is that you can use so a variety of materials. They will be modelling petals, sewing ribbon, using glue to fasten flowers and feathers and on completion you will have a gorgeous fascinator that can be worn to any event.
