Are those fireworks legal? Where are this years NYE family fireworks?

Over the summer and on long weekends there are often "private" fireworks displays taking place locally (usually on a beach somewhere). Most, if not all, of these are illegal however there is a website where you can check

http://www.safework.nsw.gov.au/information-searches/fireworks-display

All displays in NSW require a WorkCover notification. If it's not listed on this website it's not legal.

As Wile E. Coyote can attest, fireworks are dangerous and when handled inappropriately deadly.

Please report all illegal displays to the police immediately.

The South Coast has Mosaic Fire, an excellent pyrotechnics company.

If your event would like pyrotechnics then keep yourself safe, keep yourself legal and spend a bit more to do it all properly and professionally.
